Triad Workforce Training Effort Begins

The Triad may be facing a shortage of available workers in areas such as logistics and machining, but local workforce development officials hope to reverse that trend with plans to train a total of 380 workers in those fields over the next two years.

The effort, which begins next month, is being led by the Triad Workforce Solutions Collaborative, which recently announced that it was awarded $320,000 from national foundations to fund the training.
